THESIS
Every critical mineral the world needs is already there. We just can't see it yet.
PROBLEM
Everyone talks about AI and chips. Few talk about what they sit on. Copper and critical minerals sit under everything. Demand is compounding, but supply cannot keep up. Ore grades fall. Discovery takes ~16 years. Less than 1% of exploration works. More capital alone cannot change geology.
Look at the AI stack: applications, models, compute, chips, data centers. Under all of it sits something more fundamental: the ore in the ground and the decisions that find it.
WHAT
Once a region is known to host mineralization, the goal is to define the ore body with fewer holes, more hits, less time, and less capital. We are building a subsurface world model to answer that.
WHO
Geologists and computer scientists from MIT and Tsinghua.
